    Cowards, Bullies, and Hypocrites: Meet the Battle Ground City Council

    In this episode, Tyler and Joey take a break from the topic of the church to address a local city council meeting that Tyler participated in. In this meeting, there was a large crowd that showed up to oppose a "pride proclamation" that the council would be voting on. Several of the council members went on the defensive and even belittled those who came. Tyler and Joey take the time to break down several of the speeches made by the council members and respond to them. They finish by helping the Christian think through their responsibility to their local government.     Rejecting Biblical Authority: Athey Creek’s Logical Damnation

    In this second episode of season 3, Tyler and Joey cover the vital topic of the authority of Scripture in the church, reviewing several sermon clips from Athey Creek Christian Fellowship. From their teaching on the unforgivable sin to ancient doctrinal debates over salvation, 'pastor' Brett departs from Scripture's authority leading to serious logical and theological consequences. Continuing the theme of 'The Church', this episode hits on the dangers of false and, frankly, ridiculous interpretations of God's word. CORRECTION: Due to an editing error, an important part of Brett Meador’s commentary was left out from the “I Would...But You Would Not" clip at the 25:28 mark of our video.
